A set of three provincial chairs with hand woven rush seats, turned legs and stretchers, and pierced floral carving through the backs. Fluted uprights and slender proportions give the traditional form an elegant profile.
The pale hardwood has softened with age, while the natural rush brings warmth and texture. The set works beautifully around a dining table, while each chair has enough character to stand alone as occasional seating.
Well preserved vintage condition with old repairs and surface variation consistent with age. One rush seat shows some wear, as pictured.
